SEFL - Construction Pathway

Skills for Employment and Further Learning (SEFL) is a suite of units that can be used to create specialist 'Pathways' such as this Construction course. Topics covered on the syllabus include Calculations for building activities, Joinery skills, Painting in construction and a stand alone Level 1 health & Safety in Construction qualification. Based in an ancient Woodland this course is a blend of theory and practical work delivered by experienced Woodland Rangers. As part of the national Study Programme students are entitled to a bursary and free transport is provided form from Lincoln, Gainsborough, Newark and Sleaford. Students can benefit from small groups and gain experience through our work based learning environment. Maths and English qualifications are taken alongside our vocational pathways (Entry level to level 2 Functional skills and option of GCSE refresher course/resit)
