On this apprenticeship you will help people with specific needs in their everyday lives including disabled or elderly people or those with learning disabilities. This type of care can include anything from helping a person get dressed, transporting them to and from a residential home or taking them shopping. It prepares you to work in roles such as senior support worker and senior care assistant. To enrol, you need to have completed the intermediate apprenticeship. Within the Advanced Apprenticeship you complete qualifications in: Care Certificate, Health & Social Care (Adults) Level 3 and functional skills in maths and English if not already achieved at level 1 or equivalent.
