Economics at A Level is a rigorous, highly respected subject, it is not essential to have studied Economics at GCSE. An interest in the UK and global economy is vital. We cover both micro economics (individual markets such as oil) and macro economics (the national economy). You will learn to analyse and evaluate topics such as market forces, competition, the power of large companies, labour markets, externalities, behavioural economics, economic growth, unemployment, inflation, financial markets, Europe and globalisation.
