"For both the AS and A2 there will be two assessed components of study. These comprise of Philosophy and Religion, and Ethics, Religion and Society. Ethics focuses on various theories of right and wrong, and their application to practical issues e.g. medical ethics, issues of human life and death. Philosophy deals with traditional arguments for the existence of God and criticisms of these by various scholars. Students will study Christianity at both AS and A2, and will explore issues concerning God/Ultimate Reality, the challenge from science and sources of wisdom and authority."
