The mandatory units of these programmes include: Level 2 and 3 - Child & young person development, safeguarding the welfare of children & young people, support positive children and young peoples positive behaviour, Paediatric Emergency First Aid. You will also select from a range of optional units which may include: Level 2 - Support children and young peoples play and leisure, contribute to the support of creative development, support children and young peoples health and safety. Level 3 - Work with babies and young children to promote their development and learning, promote young childrens physical activity and movement skills, promote creativity and creative learning in young children. One evening per week college attendance is optional.
