Business is an extremely popular and successful specialist subject. Our students achieve consistently high grades in the BTEC course, with the majority of students achieving from Merit to Distinction* grades. You will work in our excellent ICT rooms with outstanding teachers to develop your knowledge of the business world. You will learn about the business environment, how businesses develop a marketing campaign, how to deal with business and personal finance and how to successfully manage recruitment and selection. You will take part in a Stocks and Shares competition with the ultimate prize being a trip to New York. You will have one examination to revise for, two pieces of coursework to complete and one controlled assessment to undertake. This Business course is delivered by enthusiastic, experienced and innovative staff, who are ideally placed to support and motivate you to succeed at a high level. In the most recent Ofsted inspection (March 2012), the subject area was rated as 'Outstanding'.
