the course investigates the way large organisations use Oracle databases to store information. Students learn how to design database models (Entity Relationship Diagrams) and how these are effectively used in business. The second aspect of the course teaches students to use SQL coding (programming). The assessment of the course is completed through online multiple choice examinations throughout the course. Please note that this course provides a professional qualification, and therefore does not carry UCAS points. It provides access to higher education only for specific Computing courses.
