IT - BTEC L3 Sub Dip (Year 2 of Cert)

UPDATED 20160317 09:21:24

Information Technology is an exciting subject and the BTEC in IT approaches the subject in a practical way using real-life situations as a basis for learning. It will ensure you understand personal attributes valued by employers and learn to use IT to communicate effectively. You will learn the skills necessary to become an IT professional, including setting up and maintaining computer systems and using appropriate business, multimedia, web authoring and programming software. Once the Level 3 BTEC Certificate has been successfully completed, the Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma can be followed and is the equivalent of one A level. To complete each unit, students' work is continually assessed, pulling together skills, knowledge and understanding. This on-going assessment allows students to analyse and improve their own performance throughout their course in much the same way as they would in the workplace.
