You will gain an understanding of electrical installation and undertake basic electrical practical skills.Teaching will be conducted in the classroom and in the workshops and you will undertake short written assignments, carry out practical installations and on-line multiple choice exams. Attendance will be 15 hours per week in the College. It is expected that time is spent on assignments, research and homework outside of timetabled classes.This programme is suitable for individuals wanting to enter the electrical installation industry and who are looking to gain basic knowledge and skills. Upon successful completion of the programme, you could progress onto Level 2 Electrical Installation or an Electrical Installation Apprenticeship.
