In this qualification candidates will demonstrate their understanding of the impact of a specific impairment on teaching and learning. They will analyse the factors influencing inclusive practice for disabled learners and how the social model of disability impacts on learning opportunities. Evidence for this qualification must be drawn from teaching and learning environments with disabled learners, and when delivering teaching and learning, candidates must ensure that they comply with internal processes and external requirements. Simulation is not permitted.
