If you want to work as a junior hair stylist, this course will introduce you to working in the industry. You will need time for personal study and you must be able to purchase your own hairdressing kit and uniform.You will study units like promoting services and products, health and safety client consultation shampoo and conditioning cutting women's hair, colour and lighten hair perming hair and the art of dressing hair.There are also optional units in relaxing African type hair, styling African type hair, providing scalp massage, and creating an image based on a theme. You will be required to study functional skills in English and maths.
