MATHS: ENTRY3 INTRO

Our maths courses cover the four rules of number and how to apply them, fractions, decimals and percentages, handling data (graphs and charts etc), measure shape and space. The problem solving part of the course will help you with maths used in everyday life, helping with homework, looking for employment, accessing further study or having the confidence to work out practical maths problems such as when is a bargain really a bargain! Our courses are delivered in an adult setting (not school!) in a friendly, non threatening environment. We enjoy seeing our learners grow in confidence and lose the fear of maths that many start with. We ask you to attend regularly, on time and complete any work asked of you (this will be set on individual circumstances) All learners are assessed so we make sure we place you in a class at the appropriate level. We offer Functional skills level classes Entry 2,3 and level 1 and 2 as well as GCSE foundation level.
