Post 16 students follow a Functional Skills programme that focuses upon the real life skills needed for the future whilst continuing to develop core literacy skills. Throughout Years 12 and 13 you will have the opportunity to gain two certificates at a level appropriate to your ability. In class you will study: • Letter Writing and Communication • Instructional Texts and Form Completion • Reading to extract information • Persuasive Writing • Interpreting Texts • Engaging and Participating in discussion on a range of topics
