In Year 12, students study towards an AQA Advanced A2 qualification. Topics studied include: •Media (television, advertising, communication technology) •Culture (cinema, music, fashion) •Healthy living (sport and fitness, health and wellbeing, holidays) •Family (family relationships, friends, marriage and partnerships) Homework: •Students to spend a minimum of 90 minutes every day (10 hours per week), on their language studies. •Students to make full use of "Kerboodle" website. •Students to complete additional exercises for their "Self Study" folder on a weekly basis. Aspects of Hispanic society Modern and traditional values. Cyberspace. Equal rights. Artistic culture in the Hispanic world Modern day idols. Spanish regional identity. Cultural heritage or cultural landscape. Grammar AS and A-level students will study the grammatical system and structure of the language. The end of course exams will test their use of accurate grammar and structures appropriate to the tasks set, drawing from the lists in the specification.
