This course is ideal for those wishing to try this exciting craft and also those with previous experience of working with stained glass. During the day you will learn some basic stained glass techniques such as copper foiling, cutting glass and soldering and use these to create colourful and unique sun catchers to hang in a window or in the garden. You will understand the importance of using tools and materials appropriately and follow Health and Safety practices. The course is taught by a qualified and practising Stained Glass professional who will guide you through the stages of planning; making designs, cutting glass to a pattern, joining the pieces and creating your own beautiful and unique stained glass pieces which can be inspired by a variety of themes both figurative and abstract, and may be used in either the home or garden.
