This course is ideal for beginners and those who have some experience of Sugarcraft and wish to develop their knowledge and skills further. In this course we will be covering a fruit cake with marzipan and sugarpaste and making a poinsettia sugar flower and foliage to adorn the top of the cake fit for any Christmas table! You will learn how to cover a fruit cake with marzipan and sugarpaste to create a smooth and flat covering with many tips and techniques to achieve a professional finish. How to make a poinsettia sugar flower and Ivy leaves using wires, cutters and veiners. How to pre colour flower paste and how to dust using edible petal dust to create depth to enhance your flowers and foliage. How to tape up and assembly each flower and leave stem step by step and suitably arrange on top of your Christmas cake.
