Sociology will equip you with a wide variety of marketable skills. Perhaps the most important is that of critical thinking. The course exposes you to many different ways of thinking about our social world, enabling you to make informed decisions as part of evaluation. Other important skills the course equips you with are: communication, cross cultural understanding, forming evaluation using a range of theoretical perspectives, the ability to make reasoned arguments, organisation, analysing sources, conducting research, presentation.
