A fun and social workshop for adults with learning disabilities. Visit the Museum of Oxford and explore real life stories of Oxford during World War I. How did the outbreak of World War I transform life for people living in the City of Oxford? Discover stories from the nurses who worked in the city's military hospitals and the soldiers they treated. Handle real historic objects that belonged to local Oxford people during the War. Make your own First World War greeting card. This workshop is free but as a gesture of appreciation we invite all learners to donate GBP2 to the museum.
