For learners with very mixed literacy skills who are low in confidence. Speaking and listening at E3 / Level 1and be developing Reading and Writing from E2. There are regular points in the year you can join the class if there is availability. For more information please read the Course Information Sheet. The learner's journey will be as follows: an induction and skills review period followed by learning assessed by one or two qualifications for specific skills and at an appropriate level. Some learners will progress to a full functional skills qualification. You will need to have had a progression interview, or an appointment to see an Education and Careers Adviser to attend an assessment session before enrolling on this course.
