CYQs are qualifications which enable you to work as a fitness instructor in the Leisure Industry. They can allow you entry to the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs). This is a foundation fitness qualification which will lead straight into employment in a gym, leisure centre or selfemployment. This qualification is aimed at the learner who wants to pursue a career in the health and fitness industry as a fitness instructor in the context of gymbased exercise.
