MGTS is an employer led educational charity. We deliver cost effective education, training and assessment solutions to various industry sectors. MGTS was established in 1966 and is located in Coventry, Redditch and Reaseheath, employing 43 staff and a number of specialist associates. MGTS is proud of developing many partnerships with employers that have lasted for more than 25 years. We have achieved this because we have made it our business to understand the way companies operate and what they require from their staff. When selecting and training apprentices a company’s business objectives remain at the forefront. Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeships in Engineering usually last for a period of 18 months.The first six months would be carried out at MGTS in either our Coventry or Redditch Off-the-Job Technical Centre to achieve NVQ Level 2 in Performing Engineering Operations and Functional Skills at Level 1. The remaining 6 months consists of a period of work experience and employment.
