This course is for you if you are planning a career in IT or computing. As well as learning how to use a variety of software packages Functional Skills English and Mathematics are included in the course timetable. You will also be taught important skills such as internet safety and setting up a PC. All students will have a personal progress tutor who will support them through the course. Modules will include amongst others Improving Productivity using IT Imaging Software Using the Internet/ Email Spreadsheets Desktop Publishing Website Software Presentation Software Audio and video software The study programme will include Functional Skills in English Mathematics and study skills. You will also have the opportunity to take part in work experience for a week which will enable you to develop your employability skills further.
