The Level 1 Diploma in Hospitality & Catering is an introduction to working in a kitchen and restaurant and provides students with the basic skills of food preparation, cooking and serving food and drink. Students will spend the majority of the course developing their skills in the College training kitchens and restaurant, which is open to the public. Students will also attend a work experience placement to gain further industry experience.
