Understanding Assertiveness

Do you often say 'yes' when you really want to say 'no'? Do you find it difficult to communicate your needs? Have you sometimes felt that you have not been listened to? Assertiveness skills can be used to help build healthy effective relationships and increase self-confidence. This practical course will provide an introduction to assertive thinking skills and unpack misunderstandings regarding assertiveness. You will practice different communication strategies that can be used to improve social interactions, build confidence and help you find the right words.
