This course offers a basic introduction to computing. You will learn about three distinctive areas of essential computer use and then prepare for an exam in each of the areas. , , By the end of the course students will be able to:, , - Search the Internet and send, receive and manage emails; , - Manage files and folders so that you can easily store and find information; , - Safely use IT equipment ensuring security of information., , The three online assessments will help you and your tutor review your progress and lead to the nationally recognised ECDL Essentials qualification. It may be necessary to practise what is learnt during the lessons at home. This course is for beginners wishing to learn more about computers and to gain an IT qualification.
