The aim of this course is to provide you with a variety of mixed media techniques. You will explore a range of media and discover your own style. You will be provided with visual resources but can also bring your own ideas and resources to the classes. You will learn through a mixture of skills based input and experimentation. The course is suitable for beginners and experienced artists alike., , Mixed Media is taught in three separate 8 week courses. You can attend one to learn the basics or all three to gradually build confidence and expertise through the year., , By the end of this course you should be able to:, Use a variety of background techniques, Transfer magazine, ink, book page and printer images, Create finished pieces by adding other media: collage, paint, inks, , , There is no set 'homework', but you are welcome to practise and do further work at home., There is no qualification for this course, , , , There is limited parking on site, but there is a public car park nearby and on-street parking. Students with all levels of experience who are interested in discovering how to use mixed media to create a piece of art. The course is also for those who want to extend their practice with mixed media. Beginners welcome.
