This course is equivalent to a University Foundation Degree and provides an innovative and creative curriculum, covering core areas such as the Business Environment, Business Communication and Information, Marketing and Human Resources - all fundamental to the success of business organisations. The Edexcel BTEC Level 4 HNC is made up of 8 units: four mandatory units and four specialist units. The structure of the program provides an innovative and creative curriculum, covering core areas such as the business environment, business communication and information, marketing and human resources - all fundamental to the success of business organisations. Mandatory units include: The Business Environment; Managing Financial Resources and Decisions; Organisations and Behaviour; Marketing Principles. Specialist units could include: Project management; Marketing intelligence; Advertising and Promotion; Personal and Professional Development. An individual can apply to study on a one year HNC or a two year HND. If studying on the one year HNC the units that have been achieved in the first year are carried forward towards the HND. In this case, the overall grade will be on their HND performance. The course is taught using a balance between practical and theory. We include e-learning, one-to-one support, Individual Learning Plans, external visits, events and speakers.
