Assessing Vocational Achievement CG Certificate Level 3

The course is for practitioners who need to be qualified to use all methods of assessment i.e. those who will be carrying out the role of an assessor in a work environment and vocationally related situation (i.e. classroom/workshop/simulated environments). A full range of assessment methods must be used: - e.g. in a work environment: observation, examining work products, oral questioning and discussion, use of others (e.g.: witnesses), learner statements and recognition of prior learning (RPL); and in vocationally-related situations e.g. classrooms or workshops, assessment in simulated environments, skills tests, oral and written questions, assignments, projects, case studies and recognition of prior learning (RPL).
