What will I do on this study programme? If you're practical but cannot decide on a specific trade, this study programme could be for you. You'll learn about the construction industry and develop basic skills in bricklaying, carpentry, plumbing and painting and decorating. The construction units covered include developing brickwork, carpentry, painting and decorating skills How will I be assessed? We will assess what you know and your practical skills in a number of ways, including practical tests, completing workbooks, project work, a portfolio of your work including photographs and an end of year test. What options do I have after successfully completing? Maintenance Operations Brickwork/Carpentry/Painting and Decorating, Diploma, Level 2 or an Intermediate Apprenticeship Employment in the construction industry as a labourer.
