This course will cover: the value of play for babies and young children, management and organisation in an early years setting, the roles and responsibilities of carers and volunteers in early years settings. The award is assessed through 3 units that need to be completed by the learners linking to the areas covered during the session. Learners will have dates for completion and will need to meet these deadlines in order to gain the full award. Homework will be set each week to be completed by the next session and discussed as a group Please bring with you a folder for notes and hand-outs, a notepad and pen. Please do not buy any materials until your course is confirmed as running.
