Who is the course for? An opportunity for any individual to gain a nationally recognised certificate in the construction industry who has either already achieved the Level One Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery or is currently working on site and wants to gain a qualification to validate their onsite experience. What can it lead to? Progress to the Level 3 Diploma in Site Carpentry or employment. We'll also grant you access to our excellent partnerships with local employers and trade links, providing work experience and apprenticeship opportunities across London. What will I study? Practical & theory elements: This course will give you the skills you need to work on site, as well as the bench skills needed for a workshop-based role, giving you the flexibility to progress in to a wider range of jobs in the construction industry. You'll develop the tool skills related to the trade and you'll learn all the techniques, gaining hands-on experience of fitting and installing joinery items, constructing complex roof structures and all aspects of first and second fix carpentry. ?
