This one term course will study both aspects to give you a comprehensive all round understanding of garden design and horticultural principles. Design principles of site assessment, analysis, scale drawings, presentation and project management will be studied alongside basic principles of horticulture with an emphasis on plant anatomy, types of plants, and groups of plants, choosing the right plants for the site and how plants work. Towards the end of the course there is a short, tutor guided project. This course is suitable for all ages and abilities.
