Also known as the IQA (Internal Quality Assurance) Level 4, this qualification will provide people who carry out quality assurance in their organisation with the opportunity to develop and improve their practice as well as achieve a professional qualification for the role. Developed for those working in accredited learning, non-accredited learning, the NQF and the QCF. The Internal Quality Assurance Award is at Level 4 and consists of two units - Unit 401 Understanding the Principles and Practices of Internally assuring the Quality of Assessment (knowledge based)- Unit 402 Internally Assure the Quality of Assessment. You will attend an induction workshop for your course and undertake a series of meetings and reviews with your portfolio assessor in order to plan the collection of your evidence and compile your portfolio.
