The course aims to develop an understanding of the theory of the Person-Centred Approach to counselling. You are introduced to two other approaches to compare and contrast to the core model. Students will explore the ethical issues around counselling; develop counselling skills through recording fellow students and review the skills of their peers.This course also involves exploring feelings; values and beliefs in a personal development group to allow for growth and to raise self-awareness.
