L01C06F: To enable participants to understand what self-esteem is; how it can become compromised and how to increase it. The course is for anyone who would like to increase their self-esteem. It is a basic course and no prior knowledge is required.

The ILR is a way for you to identify your strengths, challenges and interests and set your own personal targets. This, in turn, will inform the tutor of your starting point and ensure you get the best out of your course. With your tutor you will revisit the ILR regularly so that progress and further actions can be discussed, agreed and recorded.
