The 2 year Foundation degree, jointly taught with Canterbury Christ Church University, provides an exciting opportunity for those who are working with deaf or hearing impaired children or young people in an educational/childcare setting. You will need to be working for a minimum of 10 hours per week, paid or voluntary, in an educational setting with hearing impaired children/young people. A BSL Level 1 qualification is a minimum requirement for this specialist pathway and you will be encouraged to study for Level 2 whilst on the course. To gain the Foundation Degree you must successfully complete six modules at Level 4 in the first year and six at Level 5 in the second year. Student finance available.
