BTEC Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Health and Social Care

This course provides a broad Level 3 introduction to the health and social care sector. It is intended to be studied alongside other subjects as BTEC or A Level programmes. Students will study six units of work: Unit 1: Human Lifespan Development Unit 2: Working in Health and Social Care Unit 5: Meeting Individual Care and Support Needs Unit 7: Principles of Safe Practice in Health and Social Care Plus two optional units selected from: Work Experience in Health and Social Care, Sociological Perspectives, Psychological Perspectives, Supporting Individuals with Additional Needs, Nutritional Health depending on numbers and staffing
