ESOL Skills for Life - ESOL Literacy Entry 1b - Entry

Do you want to improve your English? ESOL (English for speakers of other languages): CALAT offers courses in ESOL for people who are settled in the UK and want to improve their English language skills for work, life or study in the UK and gain nationally recognised qualifications. Most courses lead to Cambridge ESOL Skills for Life exams. ESOL classes are free for learners who are eligible for funded classes and receiving Job Seekers Allowance (JSA), ESA (WRAG) or other means-tested benefits and looking for work. Learners who are eligible for funded classes and not receiving benefits pay £3.50 per hour. For visitors fees please ask at assessment. All learners are assessed and advised before they join a course. Please bring your passport or Home Office papers, proof of benefit (if applicable) and payment for the course (if applicable). We offer Pre-entry, Entry 1, Entry 2, Entry 3, Level 1 and Level 2. Courses are for 10 or 11 weeks. Do you want to improve your skills for work? All our ESOL courses include employability skills training and we now have new ESOL for Work courses with flexible start dates. To join an ESOL course you will need an assessment. EFL (English as a foreign language): CALAT also offers EFL for people who are in the UK temporarily and are interested in taking internationally recognised English qualifications. EFL Cambridge Advanced /Proficiency Monday and Wednesday 7.00 to 9.00 pm.
