This course will build on the knowledge gained at Level 2. You will study, learn, develop and practice the skills required to diagnose and repair vehicle system faults required for career progression in the automotive industry. You will study units such as: Skills in health, safety and good housekeeping in the automotive environment, Skills and knowledge of diagnosing and rectifying light vehicle engine faults, Skills and knowledge of diagnosing and rectifying light vehicle chassis system faults, Skills and knowledge of diagnosing and rectifying light vehicle transmission and driveline faults, Skills and knowledge of diagnosis and rectification of vehicle auxiliary electrical faults. On successful completion you can progress within the Motor Vehicle industry or achieve team leading or management qualifications.
