Learning Support NVQ Level 3 - This higher level qualification is for Teaching Assistants who would like to take on a more leading role alongside their class teachers. The course will enable students to find out more about the statutory and organisational framework of their school. The course aims to increase knowledge and understanding within the following areas:- establishing effective relationships with pupils, teachers and parents, managing behaviour, supporting pupils with different types of needs and difficulties, reviewing and developing your own professional practice reporting and record keeping, high level curriculum support, collaboration and teamwork. This course is suitable for those who have already begun to train for work as a Teaching Assistant and have gained a relevant Level 2 qualification.
