Walk Kent - Three of the Best

UPDATED 20151112 09:11:16

Join a series of guided walks which will introduce you to the wonderful world of the Weald. This course will consist of three walks from the walks list on our Walk Kent - Tunbridge Wells courses enjoyed since September. The walks are circular and 4 - 5.5 miles in length, usually within 18 miles of the main centre. They will help you to improve your fitness and broaden your knowledge of the local area. By the end of the course you will have increased your knowledge of where you live, be somewhat fitter, and will hopefully have made some good friends. You will need to make your own arrangements to get to each start point, which will usually be within 35 minutes of Tunbridge Wells. Sessions begin promptly at 10:00 am. Full details and a list of all the walks will be sent to you before your first class. However, if you enrol after the start date please contact the centre for the Walks List. At the end of the course students should feel more fit (as measured by a simple 'puff' test), and know more about the flora, fauna, history and topography of the Weald. Although it is primarily designed for those students who have attended previous Walk Kent courses, it will also be suitable for new students who want to try a taste of what we do before deciding whether or not to join us in the Autumn.
