Have you got a family heirloom or a bargain junk shop find that badly needs a facelift ? Why not learn how to totally transform it into something beautiful and useful again or perhaps this is the time to finish that project you have been working on this year . There are also additional sessions on the 5th and 6th July so there would be time to complete a small project. students are welcome to enrol on one course or more depending on their project On this course at Tonbridge Adult Education you can learn a variety of traditional and modern upholstery techniques, using upholstery tools and materials. Starting with stripping back your chosen piece of furniture, then webbing it, stuffing it and finally giving it lease of new life with a beautiful new top fabric and trim. A practical course for students to develop skills and work on projects of their own choice. Demonstrations and guidance on techniques will be given as needed This course is suitable for beginners and those with some experience. It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity. If you need to bring a carer with you, or be accompanied by another person, please speak to a member of staff.
