EDEXCEL Functional Skills English L2 (FENNS)

This course will improve learners English skills in speaking, reading and writing to allow them to better integrate into the society in which they live and may work. FENNS (functional English for non native speakers) classes are for post 16/adult learners who have the right to be resident in the UK. Students interested in taking this course must study from September to June.

Name: EDEXCEL Functional Skills English L2 (FENNS) Qualification title: Functional Skills qualification in English Qualification type: Assessment FENNS learners will be asked to attend an initial interview and assessment to determine their level of language skills. Further written, speaking and listening assessments will take place in class. The learner and tutor will negotiate an individual learning programme and set individual targets. Class assessments are on going and controlled assessments will take place when the teacher feels that the learners are ready.
