Is this the right course for me? You will need to know how to use a mouse and keyboard and a desire, or need, to give a presentation. You will want to learn how to prepare a PowerPoint slideshow and use it to enhance your presentation. Plus tips on how to effectively engage your audience. What will I learn about? Designing appropriate and effective presentations Choosing appropriate background design Adding animation and design effects appropriately Hyperlinks Slide Show and Printing options How to present your Presentation and keep your audience engaged. How will I learn? Through a combination of demonstrations and hands-on practice. You will also receive handouts to take away and study at home in your own time. Will I gain a qualification? You will not gain a formal qualification but you may receive a Certificate of Attendance from your tutor. What can I do next? If you would like to improve your presentation skills there are other learning opportunities in our brochure eg Learn to Speak with Confidence and Body Language, Mindfulness for clear thinking.
