This course is designed for those who wish to work within the Health and Social Care sector. You will be required to complete a minimum of 60 hours work placement over the duration of the course. Tutors have a wide range of expertise within the field of health and social care including qualified nurses in the disciplines of adult nursing, learning disability and mental health as well as highly experienced social care managers. The course also contains a work placement component whilst every effort is made to obtain placements within your area of interest this is not always possible. During placement you are supported by the tutor who will visit the setting.
