This stand-alone unit from the Children and Young People's Workforce Level 3 Diploma is a mandatory requirement for anybody wishing to register as a child-minder in the North Somerset area. It covers basic child development and care as well as business planning and legal requirements. On successful completion, this unit can also be 'banked' towards completion of the full Level 3 qualification. Assessment is completed with a portfolio of evidence.
