The subsidiary course is equivalent to one A level, the diploma is equivalent to two A levels. This course is a vocational or work related qualification providing science knowledge suitable for going into a science or engineering based field. Students may choose two pathway options over the 2 years: • Option 1: Subsidiary Diploma 60 credits - 3 mandatory units and 3 optional units. Worth the equivalent of one A Level • Option 2: Diploma 120 credits - 6 mandatory units and 6 optional units.
