This course is designed for those students who have completed a Level 2 Beauty course already. You will develop your therapy skills and your organisation and teamworking skills which are essential in the work place. The Level 3 in Beauty Therapy course offers the opportunity to develop skills in beauty therapy, leading to employment in a thriving profession dedicated to helping people look and feel their best. Extended Description You will do lots of practical work and will cover lots of different skills including: • Health and Safety • Retail/Services • Body Massage • Body Electrotherapy • Facial Electrotherapy • Stone Therapy Massage It is expected that you would undertake some work experience as part of the course, this is usually in the form of voluntary projects co-ordinated by the tutors. Future Opportunities Once you have completed this course, you will be able to go onto study the Level 3 Complementary Therapy or Spa Therapy courses or progress onto a Level 4 Apprenticeship, where you will develop your skills further and then be ready to go and work in the industry. You can progress into working in a Beauty Salon, Nail Salon or a Spa as a trainee beautician.

There is an online exam which assesses the Health and Safety aspect of the course. These Functional Skills are an essential requirement for employment progression, higher education and other further education courses.
