The Art, Design and Fashion BTEC Diploma Level 2 course will allow you to seriously widen your knowledge and understanding of the creative process, putting your learning into context by researching relevant artists and designers. You'll also have the rewarding opportunity to exhibit your final major project in an end of year show and at the Winns Gallery. If you are interested in developing a portfolio for applications onto more advanced level courses in Art and Design, this is the ideal course for you. This course covers a wide range of areas in Art and Design and Fashion including painting, printmaking, graphic design, fashion design and photography. During the course you will maintain a sketchbook and build a portfolio of artwork that can lead to a higher level course in Art and Design, including the Level 3 Diploma in your chosen specialist subject area. You will also have the chance to meet and work with visiting professional specialists, with visits to museums and exhibitions What will I Study: Working with fashion design briefs. 3D visual communication.
