Level 1/Level 2 First Extended Certificate in Music

This course introduces you to the field of commercial music production and performance and provides opportunities for study at a higher level. You should be enthusiastic and have an active interest in music; and you should also enjoy participation in group activities and be willing to work creatively as a member of a team. There is a music related residential visit as part of this course. It is possible to take a performance or a technical route as you study the following subjects: live music performance, world theory, music business, sound recording and composition. You will be required to audition for this course.
